Kashmir Schools to Observe Summer Vacation from July 6 to July 19, 2026: DSEK Issues Official Order
The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has officially announced the Summer Vacation 2026 schedule for all Government and recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division.
As per Order No. 243-DSEK of 2026, dated 30 June 2026, all schools up to the Higher Secondary level will remain closed for summer vacation from 06 July 2026 to 19 July 2026.

Schools Covered Under the Order
The summer vacation order is applicable to:
- Government Schools
- Recognized Private Schools
- Primary Schools
- Middle Schools
- High Schools

All institutions functioning under the Kashmir Division are required to observe the vacation during the notified period.
Official Statement
According to the official order:
"All the Government and recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division shall observe summer vacation w.e.f. 06.07.2026 to 19.07.2026."
